Most of the major airlines offer daily flights to Belize and depending on your city of origin some even offer direct flights.
All guests will fly directly into the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport aka BZE.
From BZE to Placencia

Domestic Flights
Once you arrive in Belize, you can take a 30 minute, scenic domestic flight from the Belize City International Airport (BZE) to the Placencia Airport (PLJ). PLJ is located 7 minutes from Itz’ana Resort. Once there, the resort will provide complimentary transfers from the Placencia Airport to Itz’ana Resort for all resort guests. Once you have your flight information please contact Itz’ana to arrange a pick-up time.
Domestic Flights can be booked in advance through Tropic Air, using our discount code listed below. Tropic Air operates multiple flights throughout the country daily.

Shuttle Transfer
We have partnered with Belize Ground Shuttle to serve as the official transfer service for the wedding. Shuttle arrangements can be made directly with Belize Ground Shuttle. The offer various transfer options based on each guest's needs. Guests are able to book either a group transfer or an individual transfer depending on their arrival time. Car Rental
Traveling from Belize City via car is a great option and would allow guests to travel at their leisure to Placencia. There are numerous car rental companies available at the BZE airport. The trip from BZE to Placencia takes about 2 hours however, there are some great places to stop and check out along the way such as St. Hermans Blue Hole National Park and The Sleeping Giant Lodge.
Travel Documents
Passports
All guests traveling to Belize are required to have a valid passport. US citizens must have a passport valid for the length of their stay and proof of an onward or return ticket. Belize does not require specific immunizations for visitors; vaccinations recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention can be found at Belize vaccinations.
Tourists are not required to obtain a visa. Please refer to the U.S. Department of State for additional information associated with international travel.
